Head Chef — Indian Cuisine

About the role
<p>As Head Chef at Indo Zaika, you will author our menu, lead our kitchen, and bring the depth of regional Indian cuisine into a Japanese fine-dining vocabulary. You will work with the finest Japanese seasonal produce and have full creative ownership over the kitchen.</p>
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the seasonal Indo-Japanese menu
- Lead, train, and develop the kitchen brigade
- Maintain kitchen standards — quality, hygiene, consistency, cost
- Build relationships with Japanese producers and suppliers
- Partner with the GM on guest experiences, tasting events, and PR
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of professional culinary experience, including senior kitchen leadership
- Deep expertise in regional Indian cuisines
- Experience working with Japanese ingredients a strong plus
- Track record running a fine-dining or premium-casual kitchen
- Excellent palate, kitchen leadership, and supplier judgement
