About the role
<p>As Procurement Executive at Kanhaji, you will build and maintain the supplier base that defines our store — Indian staples, Japanese pantry essentials, specialty bakery, and lifestyle products.</p>
Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard suppliers across India, Japan, and select global markets
- Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and quality standards
- Own QA protocols and supplier scorecards
- Coordinate with operations on inbound logistics and inventory planning
- Track category performance and refine the assortment over time
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in retail or FMCG procurement / category management
- Experience sourcing across India and Japan strongly preferred
- Excellent commercial negotiation and supplier-management skills
- Working proficiency in English and Japanese
- Analytical with strong spreadsheet and category-analysis skills
