About the role
<p>Indo Zaika is a premium Indo-Japanese dining experience opening in Tokyo. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, build and develop the front-of-house team, and uphold a service standard worthy of Tokyo's most demanding diners.</p>
Responsibilities
- Run daily restaurant operations across lunch, high tea, and dinner services
- Recruit, develop, and lead the front-of-house team
- Own guest experience — reservations, special occasions, complaint resolution
- Manage P&L, vendor relationships, and operational KPIs
- Partner with the head chef on menu rollouts and seasonal events
What we're looking for
- 6+ years in restaurant operations, with 2+ in a management role
- Experience in premium or fine-dining environments
- Strong leadership and team-development skills
- Fluency in Japanese essential; English fluency strongly preferred
- Calm temperament under service pressure
