About the role
<p>As a Retail Associate at Kanhaji, you are the daily face of our store — helping customers discover products, explaining provenance, restocking thoughtfully, and keeping the shop floor pristine.</p>
Responsibilities
- Greet, guide, and assist customers across the store
- Maintain shelf presentation, signage, and stock rotation
- Operate POS and handle transactions
- Communicate product knowledge — provenance, usage, pairings
- Support inventory, deliveries, and store opening / closing routines
What we're looking for
- Conversational Japanese essential; English a plus
- Comfortable on your feet for full shifts
- Genuine interest in food, hospitality, and retail
- Friendly, attentive, and reliable
- Prior retail or hospitality experience preferred
